They will concentrate their manufacturing for now on serving the Indonesian market, but they intend to export the 3D printer to other countries in 2023. The only local 3D printer factory that not only assembles 3D printers but also designs printers and their parts was created by PT Inspira Kreatif. The owner of PT Inspira Kreatif Infinia, Sugianto Kolim, stated that his company is focused on developing the 3-dimensional printing industry in Indonesia. Sugianto stated in a written statement on Wednesday, December 29th, 2021, “We are establishing this sector seriously, because we believe the trend going forward has very strong prospects and is needed by the industry, both on a domestic scale and on a large scale.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Inspira Academy is the only local 3D printer manufacturer that creates printers and their parts in addition to assembling 3D printers. The business will also grow by adding models, giving customers more marketing options. He added that because practically all plastic 3D printer components are created using highly precise industrial 3D printer machines, his company is capable of building local 3D printers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“So there is no longer an injection process, which initially costs more,” he said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

STEAM<\/a> Curriculum<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Sugianto added, “This 2021 Inspira Academy will birth 3D Smart, specifically an Educational 3D Printer with an integrated and tiered STEAM-based curriculum so it is ready to be used by schools in Indonesia from kindergarten to high school.” <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The acronym STEAM stands for a number of words, including (science, technology, engineering and mathematics) With an online system that is accessible from any location at any time, Inspira Academy provides 3D printers and training materials for independent contractors to the industry. With the STEAM-based Educator Competency Improvement program, which was started by the Regent of Ciamis Dr.H. Herdiat Sunarya, Ciamis District became the first district in Indonesia to adopt 3D printing in human resource development. In collaboration with Inspira Academy, the curriculum will be executed in phases over three years, and by the time it starts in 2021, 1000 instructors will have applied their expertise of 3D printing in STEAM education. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The cost of training was set at IDR 3 million for a month, and printers were provided without charge, but only for the direct consumers. Due to the longer curriculum and the requirement for teacher training, the cost will be different for schools.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
